Dar es Salaam/Arusha/Moshi
The tour starts by driving from Dar es Salaam/Arusha/Moshi to Magamba village where you begin walking through the Magamba rain forest the home to black and white Columbus monkeys, flowers, and birds, with more up and down hills to the village of Lukozi for dinner and overnight. FB
Usambara Mountain - Malindi, Makose - Kagulio - Rangw
Rangwi – Mtae - World view point
From Rangwi walk through traditional villages and learn about the typical conventional wasambaa lifestyle, a pottery women group to Mtae ( World view point with spectacular views overlooking Maasai plains, Mkomazi National Park, Tsavo west in Kenya and on a clear day Kilimanjaro can be seen on the horizon. Also is a good place for viewing sun rise and sun, dinner, and overnight at the Lodge.
Goka village – Mlalo
After breakfast walk to Goka village for at least half an hour to the beginning of the forest, traditional villages, and pottery women to Mlalo for dinner and overnight. FB
Mkuzi village – Mkuzu waterfall
Drive to Mkuzi village for about two hours then walk to the Mkuzu waterfall which is situated inside the forest after enjoying the waterfall walk back to Muller’s Lodge for Dinner and overnight. FB
Dar es Salaam/Arusha/Moshi
Drive from Muller’s Lodge to Kwesimu village then start walking to Irente Farm and the viewpoint, a famous viewpoint in Usambara with amazing views overlooking Mazinde village almost 1,000 meters below the vast Maasai plains, On the way back stop by Irente farm for lunch which includes homemade cheese, jam juice, butter, brown bread, and seasonal fruit then drive back to Dar es Salaam/Arusha/Moshi.
